FINDING A PLAN:

Some Customers come to us with an idea for the design of their new home. It is possible Larry Good Homes already has plans that are similar to your dream home. If we do, you are set. If we cannot find a plan that will work for you, it will be necessary to have plans drawn. We can suggest several designers to you.

SENDING THE PLAN OUT TO BID:

Once you have chosen your plan, the next step will be a meeting with Jay Arnold. This meeting will take approximatley 1-2 hours. In this meeting, you will make choices of features and amenities for the bid on your new home. The bid will take two weeks to complete.

PRESENTATION OF THE BID:

At this meeting we will go over the price of the bid and the details and features included in the price. Also options offered. If you are satisfied with the bid, we can proceed to prepare your contracts. If you need to change some features to meet a certain price point this is the time we will make those adjustments. Some homes require a second bid.

CONTRACTS:

Once you are set with price and features, the conctracts will be prepared. Your lender will need a copy of the contracts and final prints to complete their approval process. Customers will now sign their contracts and return them to our office with a 10% downpayment.

SELECTIONS:

This meeting will take about 1-2 hours. We will get started on selecting colors and final decisions for your new homes features. At this meeting you will be given maps and contact info for vendors to make appointments for final selections on items such as carpet, cabinets, plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, brick, etc.

START CONSTRUCTION:

Now that you have completed your selections the construction of you new home can begin. At this time your contact with Larry Good Homes will switch from Jay Arnold to our Superintendent Brian Good. He will work with you as he directs the construction of your new home.

CLOSING:

Approximately one week before you move into your new home we will prepare your closing statement. It will reflect credits or extras from your contract allowances.

WARRANTY SERVICE:

Service after the closing is requested by sending a note to our office, or calling the vendor directly to arrange the appointment.
